One team to help keep your job moving
Construction projects come with plenty of moving parts – sometimes quite literally.
Waste needs taking away. Materials need bringing in. Plant and machinery need moving from one site to another. And then there are the jobs that don’t fit neatly into any one category.
That’s where Hamptons Group comes in.
From skip hire, muck-away and trade waste collections to aggregates, grab lorries, HIABs, tippers and heavy haulage, we provide practical support services for builders, groundworkers, landscapers, developers, contractors and other construction-related trades.
Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, we work across Staffordshire and surrounding areas every day, while our specialist demolition and transport services regularly take us further afield.
Whatever needs shifting, lifting, bringing in or taking away, start by telling us about the job. There’s a good chance we can help.
What do you need?
I need waste out
I need materials in
Need something delivered to site?
We supply aggregates including fill sand, recycled 6F5 and MOT Type1, as well as other materials depending on your requirements.
And if you need equipment for a particular job, talk to us too. With a sizeable fleet of vehicles, plant and machinery across Hamptons Group, we may already have exactly what the job needs.
I need equipment moved
Need machinery, plant, scrap or something particularly heavy, bulky or awkward moved from A to B?
Our transport capabilities include HIABs, tippers, grabs and specialist heavy haulage, with services available locally and further afield.
Tell us what needs moving, where it is and where it needs to go. A few photographs can help us work out what’s required. We’ll take it from there.

Not sure what you need?
Start with the job, not the service.
You don’t need to know whether the answer is a grab, tipper, HIAB, skip, low-loader or something else entirely.
That’s our job.
One of the advantages of working with Hamptons Group is having waste management, recycling, transport, haulage, construction support and more within the same wider team.
So instead of ringing one company about a skip, another for aggregates and somebody else to move your digger, tell us about the job as a whole.
We’ll help you work out the most practical combination of services.
Got a pile of spoil, but not sure whether skips or a grab make more sense?
Need aggregates delivered and waste taken away?
Need machinery moved before work starts and muck removed afterwards?
Send us the details – a few photographs are always handy – and we’ll help you work out the next step.
One project. Several Hamptons Group services.
Most construction jobs rarely require just one thing.
That’s where having several services within one group can make life a little easier.
Got a job coming up?
Tell us what you’re working on and what you need help with.
Whether that means getting waste off site, bringing materials in, moving machinery – or sorting several things at once – we’ll help you work out the most practical way forward.
Need a skip?
Need a grab, tipper, HIAB or haulage?
Need regular commercial waste collections?
Something else?
Construction support FAQs
What construction services does Hamptons Group provide?
We provide a wide range of services to support construction projects and trades, including skip hire, muck-away, grab and tipper hire, HIAB hire, heavy haulage, demolition and site clearance, aggregate supply, scrap metal and cable recycling, and regular commercial waste collections.
If your project needs several of these services, we can look at how they work together.
How do I know whether I need a skip, grab or tipper?
It depends on the type and volume of material, how quickly it’s being generated, the available site access and whether you have machinery available to load it.
If you’re unsure, send us a few photographs and some basic details and we’ll help you identify the most suitable option.
What information should I provide when requesting a quote?
As a starting point, it helps to know:
- where the job is
- what needs collecting, delivering, lifting or moving
- approximate quantities, weights or dimensions, where known
- when you need the work carried out
- what access is available
- whether there are any site restrictions
- your contact details
For haulage, HIAB, tipper and grab enquiries, photographs are particularly useful.
Can you provide several services for one construction project?
Yes – and this is one of the key advantages of working with Hamptons Group.
A project might need aggregates delivered, plant transported, muck removed and skips supplied at different stages.
Because all these services sit within Hamptons Group, we can look at the project as a whole and identify how we can best support it.
Can you deliver aggregates and take waste away from the same site?
Yes. Depending on the job, we may be able to coordinate deliveries and collections so that materials come onto site and waste leaves as efficiently as possible.
Mention both requirements when you get in touch, rather than treating them as two completely separate jobs.
What aggregates do you supply?
We supply a range of construction and groundwork materials, including fill sand, recycled 6F5, MOT Type 1 and other aggregates.
Availability can vary, so if you need a particular material or specification, contact us and tell us what’s required.
Do you provide regular waste collections for construction businesses?
Yes. Our trade waste collection service is designed for commercial customers requiring scheduled collections, with a range of wheelie bins, FEL bins and other containers available.
You can use our online quote builder to tell us about your requirements.
Which areas do you cover?
Our regular service area includes ST1–ST21, CW1–CW5, CW11–CW12 and TF9.
Some specialist services, particularly demolition and heavy haulage, are available much further afield.
If you’re unsure whether we cover your site, send us the postcode and tell us what you need.
Can you support both small builders and larger contractors?
Yes.
We work with customers needing everything from a single skip or one-off grab collection to ongoing commercial waste services, site clearance and specialist haulage. What matters isn’t the size of the business. It’s what needs doing.
What if I don’t know which service I need?
That’s fine.
Tell us about the job rather than trying to diagnose the solution yourself. Give us the location, what needs moving, removing or delivering, your timescale and preferably a few photographs.
We can take it from there.
